Eric Nielsen has practiced in the area of Indian Law since 1990. Indian Law can be complex, and effective representation of clients with legal issues involving tribes or tribal court requires a thorough understanding of the unique jurisdictional and legal rules, and federal and tribal statutes and codes, that apply to dealings and disputes with tribes. Eric has been a tribal public defender, prosecutor, attorney, and trial and appellate judge in tribal courts.
