David B. Koch
David (he/him) earned his Bachelor's Degree in Journalism at the University of Missouri and his Law Degree at Emory University. After proudly serving as an Assistant Public Defender in the trial and appellate divisions of the Alaska Public Defender Agency, David joined Nielsen Koch & Grannis, where he has represented clients on appeal for the last 30 years.
David has appeared in over a thousand cases in state and federal courts. He is a perennial selection by Washington Law & Politics magazine as one of the state’s top lawyers, and Martindale-Hubbell rates him “AV” (highest levels of skill and integrity). David is licensed to practice in the state and federal courts of Washington and is a member of the United States Supreme Court Bar. In 2012, he received the Washington Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys' President's Award for distinguished service.
