Jennifer M. Winkler
Jennifer (she/her) graduated Cum Laude from Northwestern University with a bachelor's degree in Hispanic Studies and earned her law degree from the University of Washington. She clerked for Judge Chris Quinn-Brintnall in the Washington State Court of Appeals before joining Nielsen Koch & Grannis in 2005. Since then, Jennifer has appeared in hundreds of criminal and civil appeals in the Court of Appeals and Washington State Supreme Court. Jennifer's appellate advocacy has led to recent important defense wins including State of Washington v. Sum, 199 Wn.2d 627 (2022) (Supreme Court); Dependency of K.W., 199 Wn.2d 131 (2022) (Supreme Court); and State of Washington v. Meza, 26 Wn. App. 2d 604 (2023) (Court of Appeals).
