Melissa (she/her) joined Nielsen Koch & Grannis in 2026. Prior to joining the firm, Melissa worked as a trial attorney at the Snohomish County Public Defender Association, where she represented clients charged with misdemeanor and felony offenses. Melissa earned her J.D. from the University of Washington School of Law, where she was a Managing Editor of the Washington Law Review and a student intern in the Civil Rights and Justice Clinic. She received her B.A. from Knox College in 2019.
